Affordable Transitional Summer to Autumn Outfit: Midi Dress Edit

September is here and with it plenty of new style possibilities. While I’m 100% a summer girl, there is something about booties and chunky knits that gets me excited!

The transitional period is always a bit tricky to dress for so I thought, over the next month or so, I’d share a few looks that have pieces that can be worked into one or both seasons. To start with I want to show you a cute day to evening look you can achieve without breaking the bank! If you’re anything like me you move from being out in the day to heading straight out in the evening. This is the kind of look I’ll be sporting a lot over the next few weeks.

For me I am loving the midi dress trend right now. So wearable and stylish whilst still being super comfortable. They are great because they can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion. This one from Boohoo is an absolute steal, currently only £25!!

Here I have paired with some black ankle boots, a little black belt and a leather jacket. This dress could equally be worn with trainers and a denim jacket if you want to really play it casual or just a pair of sandals if it’s really warm. For a more glamorous evening look dress up with a pair of kitten heels and cute bag – so simple and yet so effective.

Here are some other midi dresses I’m loving right now:

Oasis Dalmation Print Midi Dress
ASOS Design Leopard Midi Dress

Plus some dresses I currently have in my shopping basket.
