Summer Edition: Everyday Makeup

I am going to share with you my everyday make up products and why I love them. This is my everyday routine and takes no longer than 10 minutes to do.

I start by apply moisturiser to my face. If you have read my previous posts you’ll know at this time of year I use the St Tropez Gradual Tan for face moisturiser. Once my moisture has had some time to soak in apply I apply my Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base and then go in with my Foundation. Currently in for the summer I am using my Revlon Colour Stay Foundation in shade 220 (see previous post – My go to Foundations) and apply with my Iconic London Foundation Brush. These brushes by the way – Lush! I mean really good. I have tried various different makes and you can really see the difference in quality with these. Even my husband, who lets face it, knows very little about make up application commented on the difference!

I then set my foundation in place with my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in ‘Light Plus’. Once this is in applied over my face, for the summer months I go across my forehead, cheek bones, nose and neck with some bronzer, I am using MAC Bronzing Powder.

Now my base is ready I move to brows and get them in place. I am going to use my Bobbi Brown Medium Brow Kit. I use grey mostly with few flecks of mink and use the MAC Cosmetics Brow Styler to help shape my brows as I go. I apply a small amount of my Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara to my bottom lashes as this is all I need with my lash extensions.

Even though I have my bronzer on I still need an extra boost on my cheeks. My everyday go to is the MAC Minerailze Blush ‘Warm Soul’. I apply this just on the cheek bone.

For my lips in the summer I like something light. I tend to go for a Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip colour for this look I am using the colour Lychee Baby which has been my absolutely favourite this summer (Top 5 Summer Lip Products). If I am feeling particularly extra then I might at this point apply some highlighter (Ready, Set, Glow) but for everyday I don’t always bother.
